NNTC Demonstrates the Effectiveness of its Training Programs at HR Summit&Expo 2016
Dubai, UAE—November 16, 2016—NNTC took part in the international HR Summit & Expo 2016, a key HR forum inspiring 4,500+ attendees to come to Dubai every year. NNTC experts shared their own experience in effective business agility adoption and told the attendees about advanced IT tools to help HR intensify interaction, teamwork, and create an environment that motivates staff to search and adopt innovations.
The 2016 Summit showed that fast technology development is rapidly changing corporate HR role, and, therefore, discussions were mainly focused on HR adaptation to these changes and HR innovations. During the open workshop titled 'Designing Your Company’s Digital Transformation', Polina Khabarova, Business Development Director for Training Services and Co-founder at NNTC, shared with the audience how HR-led digital transformation helps businesses gain a competitive edge and why HR Director can and should take the lead in this process.
"To stay competitive, major companies and first of all their employees should be quick to embrace innovation. Once such an employee becomes a leader, he or she fosters a culture of experimentation and collaboration and inspires other specialists to adopt innovative IT tools, thus improving skills and efficiency of all employees and increasing the company's competitive advantage in general," said Polina after the workshop. "This process is only possible if the company initiates digital transformation and creates an environment to encourage digital thinking and fast innovation adoption. Such environment alone can produce future digital leaders. I believe that today’s HR executives can and should drive this transformation."
At its booth, NNTC showcased unique training programs for top managers, IT directors, and industry-specific specialists, designed to help companies prepare for the transition to a new technology era.
HR specialists were particularly interested in Agile training course that teaches top managers how to rethink processes and relations in a company, improve interactions within teams, and use Agile Implementation Roadmap.
In addition, HR professionals took an interest in NNTC's ‘Information Modeling Using BIM Technology’, one of the most demanded courses in the market, aimed to improve employee skills in construction and operation companies that have only recently started to adopt BIM.
Furthermore, a real highlight of the NNTC's booth was an exclusive course titled ‘AR/VR App Development’, which offers HR specialists engaged in various fields both a skill upgrade opportunity and a simulation tool to train specialists in working at complex and hard-to-reach sites, such as a drilling rig, a coal mine, or a computer room at a nuclear power plant. To demonstrate AR/VR technology and a related training product, NNTC deployed a demo zone on its booth, showing its own virtual training using International Space Station simulation, where booth guests could put on VR goggles, become an ISS astronaut and learn how to open an airlock by interacting with multiple interior structure elements of the station.
"It was a truly unique and life-like experience. At some point, I even forgot that it was all virtual! This is definitely a very effective way to practice skills," said one of the training participants.
Just before the Summit, NNTC organized a free webinar for its future attendees titled 'HR+AGILE'. During the webinar, a guest speaker Marina Pochinok, Vice President for HR at the XXII Winter Olympic Games 2014 and аn HR expert who successfully implemented Agile business practices in a company having 70,000 employees, shared her experience of how to effectively implement business agility in a company and explained the audience what role HR plays in this process and how to address the inevitable challenges.
“Agility can bring valuable results to the company: change management ability and improve performance, bring more transparency to projects and lower project risks; however, it is not a universal solution to solve all the problems” – commented Marina Pochinok. She adds, “Agility is just a way to deliver more value to the customer, and it requires fast and discipline implementation. Finally, agility is not only process, it is more a culture of doing things, the way we work, and I believe within a couple of years is will be embraced across various industries and become a normality of our business environments”.
